Business Analyst

Responsabilities:

  • Producing Business case, Business vision, gathering requirements, detailing use cases and mock-ups;
  • Review project deliverables for completeness and quality and following a formal methodology (e.g. RUP);
  • Gather requirements and develop these based on input from a variety of sources including Proof of Concept, the business and analysis results;
  • Analyse and manage the collected requirements including defining prioritisation, scope boundaries, classification and traceability;
  • Translate the requirements into detailed analysis and design specifications in the appropriate level of quality expected by IT;
  • Represent the organisation in a structured manner from motivations, business processes, organisational, capability, and information flow perspectives;
  • Identify issues, redundancies and silos in business capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree on Information Systems Technology / IT Systems Engineering or other IT relevant field;
  • Min. 12 years of experience in IT (including higher studies);
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with iterative and waterfall development;
  • Business Vision and Scope definition;
  • Structured Requirements capture and analysis;
  • Data and Entity Relationship Modelling (ER);
  • Business Modelling with UML;
  • Business Process modelling using BPMN2;
  • Information flow modelling;
  • Excellent skills to design mock-ups and wireframes, navigation models, user journeys;
  • Agile techniques and principles;
  • User Acceptance Testing;
  • Requirements Planning and prioritisation;
  • EA sparx.
  • Nice to have:
  • Proven work experience of working on high visibility projects in traditional environments with strong project governance (e.g. highly regulated environments);
  • Proven experience in business transformation projects;
  • Proven experience in system integration projects /master data management projects;
  • Proven experience in producing defining and documenting Product and Services Roadmaps;
  • Proven experience in documenting legacy systems, working with architects and business to reverse engineer systems;
  • Proven work experience as BI Business Analyst;
  • Proven experience of working in projects with offshore development teams;
  • Business Analysis certifications from ISEB, CCBA/CBAP, BCS, Six sigma etc;
  • Prince 2, PMI Project Management certifications;
  • ITIL certifications/ knowledge;
  • Pharmaceuticals industry business domain knowledge;
  • Training / knowledge on UEX design and principles.
